Harvard Milkdays Battle of the Bands

Personally I feel that this show was a very big success.  Not only did we win first place, but I feel that we made alot of new friends and fans.  Made friends with another band called DubbHerley... check them out on our links page.
our set list...

Ouch my Anal
-I found this to be our wrost song for the evening.  I messed up the bass line quite a few times.  And at times, the bass is the only thing making noise during this song... And i screwed up my solo... Big Bummer, I also did my best to sing some harmonies which probally we very out of tune due to the fact that i couldn't hear anything.

I fought the dragon
-One of my personal favorites... I tried using a walking bass line during all the verses... I found this to work out very well consindering I had never practiced a walking bass for this song.

Rising Water
-This song went very well.  It was the debut of this new song and we didn't mess it up at all.  The singing again... probally a little out of tune, but all in all, might have been our best song.

Last Night---The Strokes
-Hmmmmm we decieded to play this song about a week before the show.  We cut out the solo to save time.  I forgot the lyrics to all of the verses except for one.  So, I sang the same words for 4 verses.  I'm pretty sure that not too many people noticed this, but for those of you that did, im sorry.

Patchouli
-This song was cool because we added a crowd participation section and the crowd all did for the most part.  We didn't do to bad of a job on this one.  Definatly a nice upbeat song about how Tom's dad through out some of his old Patchouli.

This show was a great time.  I had a blast and look forward to many many more shows in the very near future.  Peace love...
